A Welsh Wedding

Grace got in touch in 2018 after seeing Laura + Tom’s wedding video, and we chatted a bit back and forth over email before meeting up at her parents’ house a couple of months before the wedding - which was also the location of the reception and everything else to happen after the wedding. It was pretty fun to just talk to Grace and her father about my process, the plans for the day, and their excitement for it all to finally happen.

Getting Married in Wales

Arriving at the house on the day, I met Tom the photographer outside - turns out we went to the same school a few years apart and have a lot of friends in common. Everything was incredibly calm and organised inside, with Grace and her bridesmaids getting ready. Tom and I headed off to the church a little bit before the bridal party to catch Rob and prepare for the ceremony itself - the man was just as calm as his wife-to-be!

A Wedding in Wales

Grace + Rob’s wedding was a pretty stellar way to kick-off the 2019 wedding season; there were different groups of people getting involved with games left and right, in-jokes being shared as the speeches started and the night rolled on, and I’m pretty sure I saw Grace sharing a jägerbomb with her dad at one point too!
